A **recall** is a manufacturer-issued repair for a safety defect or non-compliance issue. It's free, legally required, and you must authorize it. The manufacturer notifies you by mail, and your dealer performs the repair with no cost to you. **Technical service bulletins (TSBs)** are manufacturer recommendations for known issues that aren't safety-critical-things like noise, performance tuning, or minor functionality. They're not mandatory but highly recommended.

### What you need to do
If you get a recall notice, contact your dealer to schedule the repair immediately. It takes your vehicle off the road briefly but protects you and others. Recalls don't void your warranty; they're covered 100 percent.

TSBs are optional but often address real frustrations (e.g., a rattle or software update). Ask your dealer if any TSBs apply to your vehicle and whether coverage exists under warranty.

### Peace of mind
Both recalls and TSBs keep your vehicle safe, reliable, and functioning as intended. Staying current with both is smart ownership.

Castle CDJR of Naperville monitors recalls and TSBs for every vehicle we service. If you own a Jeep, RAM, Dodge, or Chrysler from us, we'll contact you about any recalls and offer TSB service during routine visits. Call (630) 864-6683 with any questions.
